ITINERARY:
Around 8:00 in the morning, our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Ninh Binh Province in a two-hour drive. After the arrival in Gia Vien, you will get on a bike to visit local villages, temples and local markets nearby.
Stopover Cau Vang Hamlet for awaiting farming activities in which you can catch crab, go fishing or enjoy once in a lifetime experience with transplanting rice, seeding, scooping water or harvesting (depending on the season).
Enjoy lunchtime in a local ancient house. After that, take a visit to “Cat Scratch” mountain where you can see the world-red-book animal, Delacour’s langurs. Later, you depart to Van Long Wharf to embark on a boat trip to Van Long Nature Reserve which is renowned as the largest wetland of Northern Vietnam. A 90-minute rowboat ride will allow you to take in the picturesque landscapes of this diversified and unique ecological system and have a chance to see many types of fauna living here. On the way, you can spot many limestone mountains and stunning caves. The water here is so clear that you can look through moss on the bottom. After the boat trip, you’ll be transferred back to Hanoi. The short tour is expected to end at 17:30 at your hotel in Hanoi.
