Seemingly similar to other islands in Indonesia, I hereby share with you some advice to visit Komodo Island and get the superb time here:

-From January to February:  The climate is a monsoonal and the atmosphere is a bit cool. It regularly has uncomfortable rain affect to your travel.

– From April to June:  It’s a highlight time on Komodo Island, the climate is quite good and you can see the magnificent views in Komodo

– From July to August is the peak tourist season and considers the most beautiful time to travel Komodo Island of the years.

– September to October will be the perfect time for who want to get the knowledge about the sea creature such as Mantas, whale sharks, sperm whales.

– November: If you travel this time, you’ll be have an experience interact to the local festivals , there are so lively with many traditional activities

How to get to Komodo Island?

Airplane: It’s the convenient transportation to get Komodo Island, there is direct flight from Bali to Labuan Baja

Bus and Boat: If you are looking for the cheap transportation, the bus and boat are the suggestion, it takes 30 hours to get Komodo Island and it very tiring.

You also can get to Komodo Island from Lombok Island by train and boat.

Where shouldn’t miss out when visiting Komodo Island?

Gili Lawa Island:

It’s a small uninhibited and charming island located in the Northern part of Komodo National Park, famous for dazzling and colourful coral with the magnificent view of the Flores Sea from the top of mountain.
