Information about the Honeymoon Escape in Indonesia 12 Days 11 Nights
  • Welcome to Jakarta, metropolitan city and capital of Indonesia. Arriving at the "heart" of the Indonesian Republic, you will have to pass immigration, collect your bags and meet the staff of the FM7 Hotel who will be responsible for taking you to the Hotel. This Hotel is located just 15 minutes from the airport, avoiding entering the noisy city. The FM7 is a charming hotel where you will rest after the international flight. Confirm the time with your hotel to let them know at which time they must transfer you back to the airport the next day. Good night and rest well.
  • Luggage ready? Today is the day to get to know one of the most important centers of biodiversity in the world and the third largest island on the planet: Borneo !!! After breakfast and at the indicated time you will have the transfer to the airport to catch the direct flight to Pangkalan Bun, on the Island of Borneo, or better known by the Indonesians as Kalimantan. Upon arrival at the airport your guide will be waiting for you to bring you to the port of Kumai. It takes about 15-20 minutes by car, where we will embark on a great adventure! If your flight arrives early (before 12.00) we can arrive on time at the Tanjung Harapan rehabilitation center where at 3 in the afternoon, the Rangers of the National Park feed the Orangutans and you can have the first close encounters with them. Tanjung Harapan's translation is Cape of Hope. This first camp is one that has more wetlands, and being in the afternoon has more mosquitoes so make sure you get quite a mosquito repellent. After visiting this Rangers Camp, you will continue upriver, resting on the boat, while we look for animals in the vicinity of the Sekonyer River. This afternoon it is very common to see groups of Narigudos monkeys and macaques in the treetops, jumping from one branch to another. You might even see monitor lizards or crocodiles in the shallow waters of the river's sides. Prepare for the sunset and enjoy the exquisite food prepared by our jungle crew. The boat is moored on one side of the river to spend the night. Tonight we can take a walk through the jungle to look for nocturnal animals such as snakes, tarantulas or even if we are lucky, we can see luminescent mushrooms or tarsier monkeys. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner Accommodation: Klotok boat
  • Today you will wake up with the sounds and colors of the jungle. With total security, you will never forget how you woke up in the river surrounded by this overflowing nature. After an extraordinary breakfast on board, we will go on time to see the Tanggui camp at the time of feeding animals (9am). Little by little you will see how the branches of the treetops begin to move and then you will see the silhouettes of the Orangutans gradually reaching the feeding platform. Tanggui was a loose camp of Young Orangutans that were rehabilitated, and continue to add food every day, to prevent the Orangutans from moving away due to lack of food, and ending up outside the National Park, with the following risk of falling into traps of settlers or Palm Oil Plantation fields. After the Orangutans begin to leave, you will return to the Klotok again to go further upstream. You will see how the color of the river changes and you will have the opportunity to see crocodiles and large monitor lizards, along with Gibones and Narigudos Monkeys. And of course, enjoy lunch in the middle of this natural setting. We will then arrive at Camp Leakey, the Old Orangutan Research and Rehabilitation Center since 1971, when a student at UCLA University in Los Angeles, called Birutte Galdikas began studying the Orangutans there, the name Camp Leaky comes from Birutte's own professor , Paleantropologist Louis Leakey. At least 200 orangutans have already been cured and returned to the jungles thanks to this center. However, since 1995, the Government of Indonesia has banned the introduction of more orangutans in this camp, so the orangutans are increasingly adapting to freedom. Today, this camp is used as behavioral and feeding research for Orangutans. At 14.00 you can see the feeding time of the Orangutans. You can also visit the small museum made by the scientist Dr. Birute Galdikas. After finishing observing the orangutans in this camp and if the weather and conditions allow it, we will do a gentle trekking through the jungle back to the Boat to search for orangutans and other animals. On the way we will have the opportunity to meet, at the hand of our local guides (some of them born in the jungle), how to look for carnivorous animals or plants or simply listen to their experience of life in the jungle. Be careful, never throw anything in your mouth without your guide's recommendation. In the afternoon, if it does not rain, the ship will be docked near a congregation of fireflies and you can enjoy the show of its luminescence. Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner Accommodation: Klotok boat
  • In the early morning, we will enjoy the last moments of the sounds of the jungle, before heading to the port, in turn, to be transferred to the airport to catch the flight to Semarang. Arriving at the Semarang airport, Upon your arrival in Semarang a representative of come2indonesia will be waiting for you with a sign with your name to take you to the hotel in the area of Magelang, the town where the Borobudur Temple is located. It is a journey of approximately 1.5h. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Rumah Dharma - Deluxe room
  • At dawn, around 4am, your guide will pick you up to attend a fantastic sunrise at one of the most important temples in Indonesia. After a journey of about 1.5 hours from Yogyakarta, we will arrive at the Borobudur Temple (Candi Borobudur). The great Stupa, the largest Buddhist monument in the world and one of the seven wonders. We will go to the temple, observing the hundreds and centenary statues of Buddha and observing how dozens of Buddhists come to preach from all over the world. Historically it was carried out during the relatively short Sailendra dynasty of Central Java between 778 and 856 BC and is in constant restoration due to the breaks that the tremors of the neighboring Merapi volcano has been producing during its history. After visiting one of the most important Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia, and in a traditional Javanese horse-drawn carriage called Andong we will visit the villages surrounding this temple. They are authentic Javanese villages where culture and tradition are the protagonists. We will have the opportunity to see the authentic and more traditional Indonesia. We will also visit some place where they produce the Keropok, (similar to the prawn bread) or we will see some of the locals where they gather for ceremonies and can teach us some of their musical instruments and even the Batik process, a method of dyeing fabrics unique to that area and that has become the official Indonesian costume. As you spend your days in this country and go around the different islands, you will realize how different the Indonesian are among them in terms of clothing, food, architecture and even language. Today we have to learn and share the day with the villagers of the Java Center. After this experience, we will head northeast towards Candi Prambanan, the temple of the Hinduists and classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco since 1991. This temple was finished being built around 856 to commemorate the victory of the descendant Sanjaya of Siva, Rikai Pikatan on the last sovereign Sailendra of Central Java. Take your time to enjoy each carving on the rocks and feel the spirituality that each of the stones perched in this set of more than 200 Hindu temples that are dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator, the Preserver and the destroyer. After this day you will never forget, we will take you to your hotel in the city of Yogyakarta. Meals: Breakfast
  • Today will be a very unforgettable day, you will enter the main streets of the great and bustling Yogyakarta, where we will visit the Keraton known as the Sultan's Palace. The palace is a complex building two centuries old, located in the heart of the city. You will hear the song of the “freedom” of the birds in the bird market. We will also visit the “Water Castle” that occupies the highest part at the northern end of the vast complex of Taman Sari, Malioboro Street, main street of Yogyakarta, with its merchants, horse carriages, taxi-bikes and markets. An incredible experience that will make the hours fly by. Depending on the time of your flight, your guide will take you to the airport to take the flight to Bali. Upon your arrival at the Bali airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name to bring you to your hotel in the Ubud area, known in turn as the "artists' neighborhood" Meals: Breakfast
  • After breakfast, we begin the tour to the Tegallalang terraces in Ubud. The terrace is also famous for its beautiful rice paddy scenes that involve the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system) which, according to history, was transmitted by a revered holy man named ‘Rsi Markandeya’ in the eighth century. Tegallalang forms the three most spectacular stepped landscapes. The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offer a panoramic perspective that extends before you and far away on the slopes of the valley. Good time to take some photos and enjoy the views! Continuing, we go to Tirta Empul, a legendary scenario of a traditional story about good versus evil. The Tirta Empul spring feeds several purification baths, swimming pools and fish ponds that surround the outer perimeter, which flow into the Tukad Pakerisan River. Afterwards, we will continue to Penglipuran, a town that managed to preserve its 75-hectare bamboo forest located in the northern part of the town. The members of this village have a strong commitment to the "ayahan desa" system, a philosophy committed to respecting the land on which the village sits. We will end the day by going to Tukad Cepung Waterfall. Well guarded by circular cliffs, this waterfall is difficult to locate for the first time. The circular cliffs give you the feeling of being in a cave, while the open sky from where the waterfall emerges, offer you the most charming view. Sunlight falls on the bright waterfall creating a rainbow, which feels projected directly on you. If you have never seen the water flowing from the sky, this would be your chance! After spending your time there, we will return to your hotel. Meals: Breakfast
  • After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and we will visit the places on the fantastic route of come2indonesia. The first stop for today will be the Taman Ayun Temple (it was founded in the seventeenth century), located in the Village of Mengwi that, until 1891, was the seat of a powerful dating back to the Gelgel Dynasty, which is circling a moat that looks like a sanctuary landscaped, which explains the term taman, or garden. The temple is a penyawangan, or place to worship other sacred sites. From Taman Ayun, the compass is heading towards Jatiluwih, where we will admire and enjoy a beautiful view of rice terraces that cover the entire landscape of South Bali. Jatiluwih's name is made up of two words, Jati which means ‘really’ and Luwih which means ‘beautiful, good or special’. This place not only has a beautiful name, but that beauty is also reflected in its landscape. From Jatiluwih, we will go to Bedugul where we will visit the Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. A famous temple that stands in a small development, located in the Beratan Lake, and has a beautiful landscape with a lake and a mountain as the backdrop. It is one of the most photogenic temples in all of Indonesia. This temple is dedicated to Dewi Danu, goddess of waters. We will close the day with this fantastic route and watching the sunset at the most famous and photographed temple in Bali, the Pura Tanah Lot. Torn from the ground on a stone pedestal, sculpted by the incoming tides, the lonely black towers of the Tanah Lot and the tufts of foliage spilled by the cliffs recall the delicacy of Chinese painting. The Pura Tanah Lot or the Temple of Earth in the Middle of the Sea was built in the 16th century. After watching the sunset we will bring you back to your hotel.
  • It is time to take a break and enjoy a day of Balinese pleasures. At the indicated time we will pick you up at the hotel and transfer for SPA. Enjoy the natural relaxation and treatment assortment for health and beauty. You will have experience treatments from head to toe, and find it a perfect way to indulge in holiday pleasure, reviving, energizing, refreshing and pampering their way into a brighter complexion.
