Extraordinary Thailand in 10 Days – Phitsanuloke / Chiang Mai / Phuket

DAY 1

WELCOME TO BANGKOK
Sawadee! Welcome to the beautiful country of Thailand. Upon arrival at Bangkok airport after your long flight, our driver will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Take some time to rest and recover from jet lag.
Enjoy your first day at leisure and relax at your hotel.

DAY 2

BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA – LOPBURI – PHITSANULOKE (B)
Depart Bangkok in the morning for northern Thailand. The first stop is Bang Pa-In, the former royal summer residence of the Kings of Ayutthaya, built in the 18th century. Visit the Royal Palace complex, including the Thai Pavilion and the Chinese-style Viharn, beautifully surrounded by landscaped gardens.

Continue to Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former capital of the Siamese Kingdom (1350–1767). Explore its remarkable ancient temples and historical ruins.

Proceed to Lopburi to visit Phra Prang Sam Yod, a distinctive temple with three iconic towers, as well as the nearby shrine dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Kali.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the journey to Phitsanuloke. Check in at your hotel and relax for the evening.

DAY 3

PHITSANULOKE – SUKHOTHAI – CHIANG RAI (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Sukhothai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first capital of the Thai Kingdom in the 13th century. Old Sukhothai is considered one of the most important historical sites in Asia.

Visit the beautiful temples of Wat Sa Si and Wat Sri Chum, known for their remarkable architecture and spiritual significance. Continue to Sri Satchanalai, the former sister city of Sukhothai, where you will explore additional temples and ancient ruins while enjoying lunch.

In the afternoon, continue the journey north to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.

DAY 4

CHIANG RAI (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, continue exploring Chiang Rai. Northern Thailand is well known for its exotic hill tribes, and in the morning you will visit local villages of the Akha and Yao communities. Drive along scenic mountain roads and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

Continue to Mae Sai, the northernmost town of Thailand located on the border with Myanmar. After lunch, proceed to the famous Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet.

For those who wish, an optional boat trip on the Mekong River is available for a closer view of the border area. Visit the former Opium House before continuing to Chiang Saen, a peaceful town along the Mekong River. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 5

CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart Chiang Rai and travel to Mae Ka Chan, famous for its natural hot springs. Continue the journey through scenic mountain landscapes and lush jungle areas en route to Chiang Mai, the “Rose of the North”.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before arriving in Chiang Mai. Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a sacred mountain temple offering panoramic views of the city.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Khantoke dinner featuring northern Thai cuisine, accompanied by cultural dance performances.

DAY 6

CHIANG MAI – ELEPHANT SANCTUARY TOUR (B/L)
After breakfast, spend a meaningful day at an Elephant Rescue Park (join-in basis). In the morning, you will be picked up and transferred to the sanctuary. Upon arrival, receive a briefing about the day’s activities and learn how to interact responsibly with the rescued elephants.

Enjoy a unique experience as you meet, feed, walk with, and observe the elephants in their natural environment. You will also have the opportunity to bathe and play with them, creating unforgettable memories while supporting ethical animal care.

In the afternoon, transfer back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

DAY 7

CHIANG MAI – FLIGHT TO PHUKET (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 8

PHUKET LEISURE DAY (B)
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure in Phuket. Relax on the beach, explore the island, or simply unwind at your resort and enjoy the facilities.
